ARP Head Stud Kit – 202-4308 | 90-96 Nissan 300ZX VG30DE/VG30DETT (Z32)

Your head gasket only holds up as good as what's clamping it down.

The ARP 202-4308 is the head stud kit that serious VG30 builds run instead of gambling on factory bolts. Made from ARP2000 alloy, these studs are built to handle real cylinder pressure — turbo or naturally aspirated — without stretching or losing clamping force the way stock hardware eventually does. This is the upgrade that keeps your head gasket sealed when you're actually pushing the engine.

Each stud is heat-treated to 190,000-220,000 PSI depending on material grade, then centerless ground for near-perfect concentricity. That precision means your head and gaskets seat correctly every time — no fighting cross-threaded studs or inconsistent torque values on reassembly. Premium parallel-ground washers are included, and studs minimize thread wear on both the block and head for consistent clamping across multiple services.

But this isn't just about one rebuild.

A proper stud kit is what lets the rest of your build actually hold together — boosted VG30DETT, built VG30DE, doesn't matter. If you're opening up the top end for any reason, this is the part that makes sure it stays closed right. Street car, track build, full turbo setup — this is the foundation everything else depends on.
