Mishimoto 2019+ Mazda Miata ND2 Oil Cooler Supplemental Kit

The ND2 Miata received numerous improvements during its transition from the ND1, including a nice bump in top-end power. Another addition during this transition was a new liquid-to-liquid oil cooler/warmer. A commonplace component, this unit uses engine coolant to warm up oil during cold starts, and keep it cool during aggressive driving. Unfortunately, we’ve found that these coolers often sacrifice cooling performance when the engine is pushed for long periods of time. The addition of this factory oil cooler also meant that our ND-chassis oil cooler kit was no longer a direct-fit and required some DIY work. That wasn’t going to work for us, so we developed our Mazda Miata ND2 Oil Cooler Supplemental Kit. This kit includes all components needed to install our Mazda Miata ND1 Oil Cooler Kit on the revised 2019+ ND2 models. Our kit eliminates the factory oil cooler, instead diverting oil through our oil sandwich plate (included in Miata Oil Cooler Kit). The included allen key is used to remove the factory oil cooler center bolt. The ½” male barbed union within this kit provides a splice to join the OEM coolant hoses, bypassing the stock oil cooler. We also include zip ties to move these lines out of the way of our Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit. Lastly, this kit includes a new oil filter center bolt, used to install our oil filter sandwich plates.As with all our Miata products, this Oil Cooler Supplemental Kit includes our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
