The TEIN Street Basis Z is TEIN's entry-level coilover, and it's built for the daily driver who wants better handling and a lower stance without giving up comfort. Ride height adjusts through a ZT-coated threaded sleeve, and the dampers are valved to match the springs. TEIN's shortened shell design keeps good shock stroke when the car sits low.

It's a drop-and-go setup: damping is fixed, so there's nothing to tune. The kit uses 5 kgf/mm (280 lb/in) springs in front and rear, twin-tube dampers with a powder-coated body, no-sag springs, and a one-piece aluminum spring seat with a Delrin thrust washer. It reuses your factory upper mounts, so there are no camber plates in this kit. Typical drop is roughly 1.2 to 3 inches depending on how you set it.
